Founded in 1992 as a non-profit, multi-agency organization with the objective of fostering goodwill among the members of the numerous law enforcement communities in Southern California. We acknowledge the accomplishments and the dedication of American -Irish Law Enforcement Officers. 

Meetings are held at the Los Angeles Police Academy, once a month, on Wednesday Nights, at 1900 Hours or (7pm).  For more information about the meetings: Click Here. The Los Angeles Police Emerald Society bagpipes and drum band is formed by its members.  The drum and pipe band does demonstrations and performances at parades, weddings, Irish events, and funerals for fallen officers.  If interested in the band please contact, The Pipe Major, Scott Walton,  (LAPD) for more information.

The Los Angeles Police Emerald Society is a member of  National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies.  The organization's headquarters is located in Washington, D.C.
