Configuring Windows '95 to dial into Grapevine

Configuring Windows '95 to connect to the Internet is a simple process that will give you a solid connection that uses software that is native to the Windows '95 operating system. When you finish with the directions below Windows '95 should be configured to dial into Grapevine Internet Services, launch the Microsoft Internet Explorer and use Microsoft Exchange to read and send E-mail.

     
  Make sure you have the TCP/IP networking protocol installed.  
 

- Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel then double click on the "Network" icon. Network Icon

 
 

- Look for a line that looks like TCP/IP -> . (See picture below.)

- If you don't have it go to Adding the TCP/IP protocol.

- If you do have it go to Making sure Dial-Up Networking is Installed.
